Zhangzheng Zheng has a diverse work experience spanning over 14 years. Zhangzheng started their career as a Software Engineer at FiberHome in July 2006 and worked there until August 2008. From June 2009 to January 2011, Zheng worked as a Software Engineer at Magic & Young, where they developed software for Dutch universities using Web 2.0 technology and Oracle Database. Zhangzheng then continued working with the company full-time. In September 2011, they joined Huawei Technologies as a Senior Network Engineer and remained there for nearly a decade until September 2020. Currently, Zheng is working as a Network Engineer at AMS-IX, starting in October 2020.

Zhangzheng Zheng completed a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Software Engineering from Wuhan University from 2002 to 2006. Later, from 2008 to 2011, they pursued a Master of Philosophy in Computer Science from the University of Amsterdam. Additionally, they obtained various certifications in the field of programming and technology including "Programming for Everybody (Getting Started with Python)," "Python Data Structures," "Using Databases with Python," and "Using Python to Access Web Data" from Coursera. Zhangzheng Zheng also holds certifications from Huawei Technologies in areas such as HCIE Routing&Switching, HCIE Video Conference, HCNP Contact Center, HCNP Unified Communication, and HCNP Wireless LAN. The dates of completion for the Huawei Technologies certifications are not specified.
