Maarten Kuijpers is an experienced professional in international development and consultancy, currently serving as the Manager of Programmes & Expertise at Amref Flying Doctors NL since June 2015. Kuijpers also holds the position of Advisor Monitoring Evaluation Learning and Strategy at Brouwerij1923, a craft brewery co-owned in Gouda. Previous roles include Director at Bureau Wyser, where support was provided to organizations in international development, and member of the FRIS Collectief, a network of freelancers focused on development cooperation. Additional experience includes co-founding and directing PI Wijzer, serving as a lecturer in qualitative research at Saxion, and working in various policy and research roles within local government and academic settings. Kuijpers holds degrees in Development Studies and International Land and Water Management, complemented by postgraduate studies in Development Management.
