Fan Yin has over 20 years of experience in software engineering. In 1999, they began their career as a Senior Software Engineer at iDini Corporation. They then moved to Autotown Inc. in 2003, where they served as a Senior Software Engineer. In 2004, they joined metalincs as a Senior Software Engineer. In 2007, they took on a Senior Software Engineer role at i365 A Seagate Company. In 2011, they were promoted to Principal Software Engineer at LiveHive, Inc. In 2018, they became a Senior Front End Engineer at ENGIE Storage. Most recently, in 2022, they joined AMPLY Power, Inc. as a Senior Frontend Software Engineer.

Fan Yin received a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Huazhong University of Science and Technology.
