Jurnorain Gani is currently the Head of Research and Development at AMPLY Discovery since January 2023. Prior to this, they worked at St George's, University of London as an Academic Tutor, where they led undergraduate practicals and facilitated students in Medicine, Biomedical Science, and Pharmacy. Jurnorain also served as an examiner for CCAs. Jurnorain worked as a Research Technician at St George's, University of London from 2014 to 2016.

Jurnorain Gani completed a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Biomedical Science at Kingston University from 2010 to 2013. From 2013 to 2014, they pursued a Masters degree in Biological and Biomedical Sciences at St George's, University of London. Finally, from 2016 to 2022, Jurnorain Gani obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Antibiotic Drug Discovery, also from St George's, University of London.
