Nick Sather is the Chief Executive Officer and Co-founder of Amphix Bio, Inc., a position held since 2019, while also serving as the Associate Director for Translational Research & Technology Transfer at the Simpson Querrey Institute at Northwestern University since October 2020. Prior to these roles, Nick Sather was a Postdoctoral Fellow at Northwestern University from September 2013 to September 2020, where research focused on bio-nanotechnology. Academic qualifications include a Ph.D. in Materials Science & Engineering from Northwestern University and a B.S. in Materials Science & Engineering, with a minor in Physics, from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Early research experience includes positions at various prestigious institutions, contributing to projects on liquid metal batteries, fuel cell electrocatalysts, sustainable construction materials, and solar power system modeling.
