Alp T. has a diverse work experience starting from their role as a Vasmon Intern at Ericsson in 2005. âš¡Alp then worked at Microsoft as both a Senior Search Consultant and a Senior Technical Evangelist, where they were involved in solving IR/NLP related problems for clients and promoting Azure services. Alp T. also worked as a Search Engineer at Fast Search and Transfer, developing large volume search solutions. âš¡Alp later became the CTO of Great Lakes Energy, Ltd in 2015. In 2017, Alp T. worked as a Village Grid Consultant at GIZ, conducting technical due diligence and commissioning inspections for PV mini-grids. In 2018, they joined Ampersand E-Mobility as a Co-founder and President. âš¡Alp also simultaneously worked as a Mini Grid Expert at Development Bank of Rwanda (BRD) PLC, validating electricity demand forecasts and renewable energy resource data.

Alp T. holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Aarhus University, which was obtained from 2006 to 2007. Prior to that, from 2003 to 2007, they also earned another Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Istanbul Bilgi University. Additionally, they pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science from Columbia University starting in 2011. Alp T. also attended Koc Ozel Lisesi for high school, although the specific years are unknown.
