Laura Harris is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in social services and education. As a Co-Founder of the Formerly Incarcerated Union since September 2019, Laura Harris focuses on advocacy and support for individuals impacted by the criminal justice system. Laura Harris has served as a Program Coordinator/Case Manager at Amos House since August 2016 and as a Course Instructor for the Re-entry Campus Program since October 2018, teaching subjects such as Criminal Justice, Sociology, substance abuse, and counseling fundamentals. Prior professional roles include Sr. House Manager at Amos House, Site Director at MacColl Field YMCA, Legal Secretary at MDH Attorney at Law, and Administrative Assistant at Q-Telligence. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Family and Consumer Economics from Rhode Island College, an Associate of Arts in Liberal Arts from the Community College of Rhode Island, and a Master of Social Work from Rhode Island College.
