Dan is an experienced health care strategist and executive. As president of DG Healthcare Associates, Dan leverages his 35 years of executive and consulting experience to partner with health care providers and insurers to improve health care quality and value.
Dan served as the Chief Operating Officer of Stanford Hospital and Clinics, responsible for all patient care delivery and their newly formed physician network.
Prior to that Dan was the founding COO and President of the Massachusetts General Physicians Organization. Dan served as the Senior Vice President, Cancer & Women’s Programs, Massachusetts General Hospital with bottom-line responsibility for clinical care, teaching, and research. He created and led the Process Improvement initiative for Partners Healthcare.
Dan has served on multiple for-profit and not for profit boards including Harvard Business School Health Care Initiative, Resolute Anesthesia, Neighborhood Diabetes, JJWild, The Dimock Center, Planned Parenthood League of Massachusetts, and the Cambridge School of Weston.
Dan began his career with nine years at The Boston Consulting Group where he was a founder of the health care practice. Dan has an MBA from Harvard Business School and an A.B., magna cum laude, from Harvard College in Biology.
