Jonathan Lam is an active advocate for social justice with extensive experience in community organizing and legislative advocacy. Currently serving as a Global Assembly AIUSA Member at Large Delegate for 2024 and Community Organizing Coordinator at Amnesty International USA, Jonathan leads initiatives focused on gun violence prevention and combats NYPD surveillance in New York City. As a Laidlaw Research and Leadership Scholar at Cornell University, Jonathan conducts research on job discrimination against migrants. Additional roles include Project Team Lead Organizer for March For Our Lives, Membership Chair for the Cornell ACLU chapter, and Youth Policy Advisor for The Gathering for Justice. Jonathan's legislative involvement extends to lobbying efforts and developing campaigns addressing youth issues and social justice, frequently collaborating with government officials and participating in national advocacy efforts. Currently pursuing a degree in Industrial and Labor Relations at Cornell University, Jonathan is also noted for contributions to the UNA-USA Youth Declaration of Human Rights.
