Maïder Piola-Urtizberea is an experienced professional in the field of humanitarian work and international relations, currently serving as Chargée de la formation des militant•e•s at Amnesty International France since May 2023. Prior roles include Chargée de sensibilisation et animation at Secours Catholique-Caritas France and Responsable formation et partenariats at Destin Commun, where responsibilities encompassed the design, coordination, and evaluation of training sessions, development of partnerships, and organization of events. Additional experience includes community development at SINGA FRANCE and campaign assistance at Amnesty International Belgique Francophone ASBL, focusing on migration and crisis responses. Maïder holds a Master’s degree in Development and International Relations from Aalborg University and has completed significant coursework in International Humanitarian Law and International Studies.
