Larry Punteney has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Larry started their career in 1992 as a Sports Director at KTIV-TV and later moved to KLKN-TV in 1996 to work as a Sports Director. In 1998, Larry joined the University of Nebraska Lincoln - Athletic Department as a Host of Nebraska Coaches Shows, and later took on the role of Manager of Premium Content. In 2002, they worked as a Business Development professional at XOS Digital before becoming the Director of Account Development at Snitily Carr in 2003. Larry then transitioned to Avantas, LLC in 2010, where they first served as a Workforce Solutions Consultant and later as the VP of Business Development. In 2015, Larry joined AMN Healthcare as a Business Development professional for their Workforce Solutions division, and in 2020, they transitioned to a managerial role as the Manager of Technology Sales. In 2022, Larry became the Regional Vice President of Managed Services at AMN Healthcare, and in 2023, they assumed the position of VP of Workforce Strategy and Optimization. Additionally, Larry has also worked as a Play-by-Play commentator for Nebraska Public Media and the Big Ten Network.

Larry Punteney attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln for an unspecified period of time, where they studied Broadcast Journalism and earned a Bachelor's Degree.
