Calvin Chong has a diverse work experience in the gaming industry. In their most recent role as Head of Operations at Ammobox Studios, they oversee the efficiency, productivity, and profitability of the studio. Calvin is responsible for managing operational budgets and executing strategic growth plans. Prior to that, Calvin worked as an Associate Producer at Double Eleven Limited, where they maintained and managed product deliverables and development pipelines across multiple studios. Calvin also served as a Game Producer at Lemon Sky, driving the development and communication of project goals while maintaining organization and accountability. Additionally, Calvin has experience as a Game Producer, Acting Lead 3D Generalist, and Associate Producer at the Centre for Content Creation, where they coordinated production pipelines, evaluated staff performance, and facilitated project requirements. Calvin also worked as a Producer, Creative Director, and Artist & Designer at Ajna Interactive PLT, managing a small team and developing 3D assets and animations. Calvin has also worked as a freelance 3D & 2D artist for various clients and studios in Singapore, as well as a Photo Retouch Artist at White Room Studio Pte Ltd. Calvin began their career as a 3D Environment Artist at Big Ant Studios, where they participated in the production of in-game environments for Masquerade: The Baubles of Doom.
Calvin Chong started their education in 2007 at The One Academy, where they pursued a Diploma in Digital Animation. Calvin studied at this institution until 2010. Following this, they went on to enroll in LASALLE College of the Arts in 2011, where they focused on 3D Animation Art, a field of study falling within the broader scope of Digital Arts. Calvin completed their studies at LASALLE in 2013.
