Charan Batth, MSA, is an experienced GIS Analyst at Amica Senior Lifestyles since June 2022. Prior to this role, Charan served as a Graduate Assistant at Toronto Metropolitan University, contributing to the GEO551 course on Urbanization and Regional Development. In January 2022, Charan worked as a Research Assistant at Ryerson University, significantly contributing to the StudentMoveTO project by developing a comprehensive Public Transit Accessibility Matrix for the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area. Charan also held the position of Teaching Assistant for GEO210: Geography of Hazards during the same period. Additionally, Charan gained valuable experience as a Visual Analytics Intern at Deloitte, where the development of Python scripts and a dynamic dashboard for the Bank Acquisition AI project was undertaken. Charan holds a Master of Spatial Analysis from Ryerson University and an Honours Bachelor of Science in Geographical Information Systems from the University of Toronto Mississauga.
