Uma Maheshwer Rao Menneni is an experienced data engineering professional currently serving as the Director of AI & Data at Amgen since January 2025. Previously, from February 2022 to January 2025, Uma held the position of Director of Data Engineering at Tiger Analytics, where responsibilities included providing thought leadership and designing data platform architecture. Prior roles include Technical Product Owner and Solutions Architect at FrieslandCampina, where Uma defined and delivered an Azure-based Enterprise Data Platform, and Solution Design Expert at Novartis, focusing on big data applications with technologies such as Hadoop and AWS. Additional experience includes managerial and engineering roles at UnitedHealth Group and HSBC Global Technology, alongside foundational software engineering roles at Tech Mahindra. Uma holds a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University.
