Tiago Gonçalves is a seasoned technology professional currently serving as Principal Platform Architect at Amgen since November 2024. Previously, Tiago worked at Saint-Gobain as a Cloud Solutions Senior Designer, focusing on the design and review of cloud application architecture for global internal customers, emphasizing a native cloud-first strategy. Tiago's expertise also includes serving as a Cloud Architect at NOS SGPS, where infrastructure as code was created in Azure, AWS, and GCP, alongside architecture and design solutions. Prior experience at Nokia spanned nearly a decade, where Tiago held roles including IT Senior Cloud Competence Center Engineer, Technical Lead, and Customer Service Engineer, focusing on infrastructure as code and technical support for telecom service providers. Tiago's career began as a Digital and Optical Material Repair Technician at Olympus Service Facility Portugal. Tiago holds a Master’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Universidade de Coimbra and studied at DTU - Technical University of Denmark as an exchange student.
