Kave Niksefat is a seasoned executive in the biopharmaceutical industry, currently serving as Senior Vice President of Global Marketing and Access at Amgen since 2015. Kave has held several key positions at Amgen, including Vice President and Global Therapeutic Area Head for Rare Disease, where oversight included cross-functional teams related to drug development and market access. Kave successfully led the commercial integration of Amgen's acquisition of Horizon Therapeutics and managed the U.S. Inflammation Business Unit, emphasizing growth through significant business development transactions. Previous experience includes a Senior Principal role at IQVIA, providing strategic commercial advisory services, and consulting at KPMG.
