Brett Koch is a Vice President of R&D Strategy and Program Management for Rare Disease at Amgen, beginning in November 2023 following the acquisition of Horizon Therapeutics. Prior to this role, Brett served as Vice President of R&D Strategy and Program Management at Horizon and was instrumental in leading the Corporate Strategy, Portfolio Management, and Program Management departments. Earlier experience includes positions at Bain & Company as Manager, Case Team Leader, and Consultant, and an MBA Summer Associate role. Brett's career also includes corporate development and participation in a Finance Leadership Development Program at Accenture, along with a summer internship at OpenTable. Educational qualifications include an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a Bachelor's degree from the University of Iowa, focusing on Finance and Biology.
