Babatunde Adedokun is a Senior Manager at Amgen since May 2020, previously serving as a Postdoctoral Scholar at the University of Chicago from September 2017 to April 2020, where research focused on genetic and non-genetic risk factors for breast cancer. This work involved developing and validating polygenic risk scores for breast cancer risk prediction and identifying novel risk loci and mutations in high penetrance genes, particularly in individuals of African ancestry. Prior to this, Babatunde served as a Lecturer at the University of Ibadan College of Medicine from July 2006 to September 2017. Babatunde holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Epidemiology from the University of Ibadan (2010-2017) and a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the same institution (1994-2001).
