Gerard Jennings is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience in transport modelling and consultancy. Currently serving as Principal Consultant at Amey since April 2022, Gerard focuses on writing business cases for 'Levelling Up' and 'Active Travel' initiatives. Previously, Gerard held the position of Principal Modeller at Mouchel, leading the Transport Planning team and managing key local authority collaborations for Highways England projects. As Managing Director at MicroNet Consultants Ltd, expertise in S-PARAMICS Microsimulation modelling was developed. Gerard also held roles as Transport Modeller at ANSA Consultants Limited, Senior Engineer at Liverpool 2020, and UTC Operator at Liverpool City Council. Educational qualifications include a B.Sc in Maths and Physics from Nottingham Trent University and a B.Sc in Physics from The Open University.
