Evelia Villa is currently the CEO at Amethod Public Schools. Evelia has held this position since January 2014. Prior to that, they served as the Chief Academic Officer at Amethod Public Schools from January 2014 to December 2018. In that role, they were responsible for sustaining and improving the culture of high academic excellence in the Amethod Schools Network. Evelia also worked with principals to provide leadership, vision, and strategic direction for the AMPS instruction, assessment and school improvement initiatives overseeing professional development for all school leaders and supervising academic management of the schools.

Before their time at Amethod Public Schools, Villa served as the Founding Principal at Richmond Charter Academy from June 2012 to June 2013. Before that, they were the Principal at Oakland Charter High School from June 2010 to June 2012.

Evelia Villa has a graduate degree in education from California State University-Sacramento and a bachelor's degree from California State University, Chico. Evelia also has a certification from the Charter School Development Center in the Chief Business Officer Certificate Program.
