Sheraz Ahmed is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the aerospace and defense sectors, currently serving as Operating Officer and Vice President and General Manager of Aerospace and Defence at AMETEK since June 2015. Previously, Sheraz held several leadership roles at UTC Aerospace Systems, including Vice President/General Manager, overseeing a $600m+ P&L and driving significant operational improvements and financial growth. Sheraz also served as Business Unit Director at Goodrich Actuation Systems, achieving substantial increases in efficiency and revenue, and was a Program Director at Goodrich Engine and Electrical Power Systems, where operational excellence and contract awards were key achievements. Early career experience includes strategic development of a global aftermarket business. Sheraz holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Aston University.
