Hisham Awad is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the aerospace and defense sectors. Currently serving as Division Vice President and Managing Director at AMETEK, Hisham oversees the Ametek Airtechnology business across the UK, Serbia, and India, focusing on profit and loss management and strategic execution. Previous roles include Managing Director at Viasat Inc., where responsibilities encompassed the UK business's full P&L and strategic planning. Hisham spent a decade at Ultra Electronics Group in various leadership positions, including Senior Vice President & General Manager Cyber UK and multiple engineering management roles, delivering critical aerospace and defense projects. Hisham's earlier experience at BAE Systems involved leading strategic initiatives and project management in military land sectors. Hisham holds an M.B.A. from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, and a combined BEng & MEng in Aerospace Systems Engineering from the University of Hertfordshire.
