Christine Spinella Davis has a diverse and extensive work history in the legal field. Christine currently serves as Litigation Counsel at AmeriTrust Group, Inc. since March 2022. Prior to this role, they worked at Bradley Arant Boult Cummings LLP as a Senior Insurance Coverage Attorney from November 2018 to March 2022, where they counseled Fortune 500 policyholders in coverage disputes and litigated claims related to COVID-19 losses.
From 2011 to 2023, Davis held various positions at the American Bar Association (ABA), including Editorial Board Member for The Brief and Editor in Chief for TortSource and the Tort Trial & Insurance Practice Law Journal. Christine was also a Governing Council Member for the Tort Trial & Insurance Practice Section and served as the Business Litigation Committee Chair.
In 2019, Davis became a Fellow at the American Bar Foundation, an exclusive membership limited to one percent of attorneys admitted to practice in the U.S.
Before their time at Bradley Arant Boult Cummings LLP, Davis worked at Manatt, Phelps & Phillips, LLP as an Insurance Coverage Attorney from October 2013 to November 2018, where they advised corporate policyholders in coverage disputes and managed negotiation and litigation of various coverage matters.
Christine gained experience as an Attorney at GEICO from February 2011 to May 2013, where they supervised catastrophic bodily injury and umbrella claims, analyzed liability and coverage, and provided in-house legal support.
Davis began their legal career at Howrey LLP as an Associate/Senior Associate from October 2000 to February 2011, focusing on insurance recovery and representing policyholders in insurance coverage disputes through negotiation, mediation, arbitration, and litigation.
Early in their career, they served as Chair of the Tort & Insurance Section in the Young Lawyers Division of the American Bar Association in 2006-2007 and worked as a Judicial Clerk for Judge Ann O'Regan Keary at the Superior Court of the District of Columbia from August 1999 to August 2000, where they conducted legal research, drafted opinions and orders, and assisted in jury preparation.
Christine Spinella Davis attended Thomas S. Wootton High School from 1986 to 1990. Christine then pursued their undergraduate degree at the University of Maryland from 1990 to 1994, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Government and Politics (Political Science), with a minor in Psychology. Following their undergraduate studies, Christine went on to attend The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law from 1996 to 1999. There, they graduated with a Juris Doctor (J.D.), achieving magna cum laude honors.
