Susanne Denby is a seasoned compliance professional with extensive experience in the financial services industry. Currently serving as Second Vice President at Ameritas since June 2017, Susanne leads the Department of Supervision for AIC and AAS. Prior roles include Vice President of Compliance, Registration & Licensing at Charles Schwab & Co., Inc., where oversight was given to the registration of 15,000 licensed employees and management of a team across multiple cities. Additional experience includes serving as SVP and Chief Compliance Officer at NFP Advisor Services, VP and Chief Compliance Officer at SagePoint Financial Inc., and various compliance roles at SunAmerica Securities Inc., demonstrating a strong track record in compliance program implementation and team leadership. Susanne holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business/Corporate Communications from California State University, Fullerton, and a Certificate of Merit in Ancient History from the University of St Andrews.
