Shane Sweeney is an experienced technology professional currently serving as a Tech QA Manager at Ameritas since March 2023. Prior to this role, Shane held various positions in automation engineering, including Senior Automation Contract Engineer at TEKsystems and Senior Automation Consultant at Eliassen Group. With a career that spans over a decade, Shane has also worked as a Software Engineer at GPS Trackit, Senior Automation Engineer at Deluxe Corporation, and Senior Automation Test Engineer at both Celtic Testing Experts and Bottomline Technologies. Earlier experience includes serving as an Automation Engineer at Bullhorn and a Lead Engineer/Technologist at GE. Shane holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from North Carolina State University and a Higher Diploma and Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, as well as Mathematical Studies and Sociology from University College Cork.
