George Chappelle has extensive work experience in various leadership roles in the food and beverage industry. George is the current Chief Executive Officer of Americold Logistics, LLC. Prior to this, they served as a Board Member and Advisor in the CPG/Food & Beverage industry for Green Fees LLC and as the Chairman of the Board for Flagstone Foods. George also held positions as a Member of the Board of Directors for Apex International Mfg, Inc. and Randall Foods, Inc.

In the past, George served as the Chairman of the Board for AGRO Merchants Group and held multiple roles at Tyson Foods, including Chief Corporate Services Officer, General Manager of Emerging Proteins, R&D, and Logistics, COO of Prepared Foods, and Chief Integration Officer.

Before that, they were the Chief Operating Officer for Advance Pierre Foods and Vi-Jon, and the EVP & Chief Operating Officer for Solo Cup Company. Despite the absence of end dates in some roles, George Chappelle has demonstrated a strong and varied career history in the food and beverage industry.

George Chappelle completed a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Information Technology from Westfield State University in the years 1979 to 1983. Subsequently, they obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Applied Management from Lesley University from 1990 to 1992.
