Allison Boales has extensive experience in graphic design, particularly in book design. Serving as Deputy Art Director at America's Test Kitchen from November 2012 to January 2022, Allison was responsible for designing various cookbooks, including cover designs and recipe pages, while collaborating with the book design team to create engaging visuals that complemented the content. Prior to this role, Allison held positions as Associate Art Director and Graphic Designer for books at America's Test Kitchen. Additional experience includes a Creative Services Co-op at Saint Joseph's University, where design projects encompassed print materials such as invitations and brochures, and an Archiver/Researcher role at the STARS Research Program, focusing on cataloging a Polish poster collection. Allison Boales holds a Bachelor of Science in Graphic Design from Drexel University, completed in 2012.
