Dominic Krause is a mining engineer with a strong background in both mining and geological engineering, holding dual bachelor's degrees from South Dakota Mines. Dominic currently serves as Mine Engineer II at Americas Gold and Silver since February 2022, after progressing from Mine Engineer I. Prior experience includes the role of Mine Project Engineer at USG and an internship as a Mine Engineer at Cleveland-Cliffs Inc. In addition, Dominic gained valuable research experience as a Geotechnical Engineering Undergraduate Research Assistant at South Dakota School of Mines and Technology. Early career experience encompasses a position as a Fishing Guide at Ballard's Resort from 2011 to 2017. Dominic completed high school education at Lake of the Woods High School.
