Stacy Mitchell serves as the Executive Vice President and General Counsel at American Water since August 2019, after holding roles such as Vice President, Chief Rates and Regulatory Counsel, and Senior Vice President, Deputy General Counsel. Prior experience includes serving as Vice President of Rates and Regulatory Affairs at SJI Utilities and South Jersey Gas Company. Stacy Mitchell also worked as Regulatory Affairs Counsel at Cozen O'Connor and as an attorney at MANKO | GOLD | KATCHER | FOX LLP. Stacy Mitchell holds a Juris Doctor degree from Rutgers University - Camden and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from Stockton University.
