Carmen Tierno, P.E., possesses extensive experience in water operations and engineering, currently serving as the Director of Operations for New Jersey American at American Water since September 1997. Throughout this tenure, Carmen Tierno has held various leadership roles, including President of New York American Water, Director of Business Performance, Director of Customer Relations, and Engineering Manager. Prior experience includes serving as an Operations Engineer at the Philadelphia Water Department and as an Engineer at Professional Service Industries, Inc. (PSI). Carmen Tierno holds an MBA in Finance from Rutgers University - Camden and a BS in Civil Engineering from Widener University.
