Ranee H. serves as the Director of Laboratories at the Onondaga County Center for Forensic Sciences since July 2021 and has been an Accreditation Mentor at the American Society of Crime Laboratory Directors since May 2019, guiding laboratories in achieving accreditation for various forensic disciplines. Prior roles include Grants Writer/Administrator and Safety Manager at the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department from November 2015 to July 2021, where Ranee managed grant applications and oversaw health and safety programs, as well as Quality Assurance Manager. Previous experience includes multiple roles in the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department's Forensic Biology/DNA Unit, including Grants Writer and Criminalist II-DNA Analyst, along with positions in market research and international trade processing. Ranee holds an MBA from the University of Missouri-Saint Louis, an MS in Biomedical Forensic Science from Boston University, and dual bachelor's degrees in Life Sciences and Anthropology from McMaster University.
