Gloria Mai is currently the Career Development Chair for the University of Florida Society of Women Engineers, where responsibilities include hosting professional workshops and launching a Resume Book to connect students with sponsors. As the Diversity & Multicultural Affairs Chair, Gloria promotes engagement with diverse organizations and creates social media content to enhance cultural awareness. In 2024, Gloria began a Packaging Co-op at The Boston Beer Company, achieving a 33% reduction in changeover time through data analysis and time/motion studies. Prior roles include Social Chair and Choreographer at JiaTing Lion & Dragon Troupe LLC, where team-building and traditional dance were emphasized. Academic experience includes a research assistantship at the University of Florida, focusing on microalgae lipid content analysis. Gloria's career began in the service industry, with positions at Jade Sushi & New Asian and Ming's Bistro, developing customer service and operational skills. Gloria is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Biological Engineering with a specialization in Packaging Engineering at the University of Florida.
