Laura Shepherd is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in development and sales leadership. Currently serving as the Interim Chief Development Officer and previously as Director of Development at the American Red Cross since September 2014, Laura has played a pivotal role in advancing the organization’s fundraising initiatives. Prior experience includes serving as the Area Director for the Muscular Dystrophy Association in Dayton and Cincinnati from 2011 to October 2013. At Brown Publishing Company from May 2001 to August 2007, Laura excelled as Group Advertising Sales Director, leading two advertising sales teams, overseeing training and HR administration, managing budgets, and contributing to business development. Laura holds an AAS in Business Administration and Management from Wright State University and has furthered education at Kaplan University from 2009 to 2012.
