ImHan Kim, MS, JD, CIPP-US, currently serves as Associate General Counsel at the American Psychological Association since November 2023, following a significant tenure at US Pharmacopeia where responsibilities included Senior Counsel and Counsel in Global Legal Affairs. At US Pharmacopeia, ImHan Kim oversaw the contracting process, led the privacy program for global compliance, ensured labor and employment law adherence, and provided legal support for international operations. Previous legal positions include General Counsel and Human Resources Manager at Amarex Clinical Research, where contract negotiation and HR management were key duties. ImHan Kim holds a J.D. from Lewis & Clark Law School, a Master’s in Counseling Psychology from Loyola University Maryland, and a Bachelor’s in Psychology from the University of Maryland.
