Jeanette Russo has extensive experience in operations management and government affairs, currently serving as Corporate Secretary and Manager of Operations at the American Physical Society (APS Physics) since February 2007. Responsibilities include overseeing operations for the Office of Government Affairs, assisting the APS Chief Government Affairs Officer, managing the APS Panel on Public Affairs (POPA), and coordinating grassroots communications initiatives. Prior to this, Jeanette Russo worked as Office Manager and POPA Studies Administration Specialist at the Program on Science in the Public Interest at Georgetown University from September 2007 to August 2012, where Jeanette also served as Assistant to Dr. Francis Slakey. Jeanette Russo holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Mary Washington, earned between 1992 and 1996.
