Madison Lamp currently serves as the Associate Director of Advocacy at the American Optometric Association since April 2022, previously holding the position of Advocacy Project Manager. Prior to this, Madison was a Senior Policy Analyst at The Nimitz Group from May 2017 to March 2022, where responsibilities included reviewing policy proposals, drafting congressional testimonies, and producing a weekly newsletter. Madison also worked as the Director of Strategic Outreach, focusing on legislative goals and client communication. Early experience includes an internship with the U.S. House of Representatives in 2016, emphasizing legislative processes and research. Madison Lamp holds a Bachelor of Arts in Government and National Security from Tiffin University and has completed an internship program at The Washington Center for Internships and Academic Seminars.
