Jesse Ehrenfeld MD MPH currently serves as the President of the American Medical Association and is a member of its Board of Trustees since June 2014. In addition, Jesse holds the position of Senior Associate Dean and Director at the Medical College of Wisconsin and the Advancing a Healthier Wisconsin Endowment respectively, both since September 2019. Jesse is also an Adjunct Professor of Surgery at Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences and a Professor and Director of Education Research at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Previous roles include a directorship at Health2047 and military service as a Commander and Combat Trauma Anesthesiologist in the US Navy. Educational credentials include an MD from The University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine and a BS in Chemistry from Haverford College.
