Laura Timme

Laura Timme is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in civil and political rights, community development, and educational program management. Currently serving as the Director of Civil & Political Rights at the American Jewish World Service since November 2018, Laura has previously held significant roles including Associate Executive Director at the University Settlement Society of New York, where oversight of community-based programs was provided within a $12 million budget. Laura has also contributed to BakerRipley in various leadership capacities, focusing on innovations and community development, and has been involved in academia as an instructor in human rights and peace studies.
