Amber Lynn Munger serves as a Senior Program Officer at American Jewish World Service (AJWS), where responsibilities include developing and implementing strategies in natural resource rights, climate justice, civil and political rights, and sexual health and rights for projects in the Dominican Republic and Haiti. Munger has cultivated donor relationships, established programmatic priorities, and led strategic learning initiatives. Previous experience includes roles as Haiti Country Consultant at AJWS, where Munger managed a $2 million grantmaking portfolio and developed new strategies, and as Haiti Livelihoods Coordinator at Oxfam America, focusing on livelihood programs and local government collaboration. Munger also contributed to environmental policy and research as an Air Program Associate with the Environmental Defense Fund and engaged in international observation during Haiti's 2000 Presidential Elections. Munger holds a law degree from the University of Oregon School of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Studies from the University of North Carolina Asheville.
