Vallan K. currently serves as the Program Manager for Student Engagement and Data Management at Rutgers University since August 2022 and has held the position of Operations Manager at ITBE Illinois TESOL & Bilingual Education since July 2023. Vallan K. has also worked as the Exchange Coordinator at CHICAGO FUTABAKAI JAPANESE SCHOOL since August 2019, previously held the role of Instructional Technology Specialist at Northeastern Illinois University for a brief period in 2022, and contributed as Executive Secretary and Technology Co-Chair on the Board of ITBE from July 2020 to July 2022. Earlier in career, Vallan K. gained experience in curriculum development, project management, and language instruction in various educational institutions, including a senior teaching role at Московский государственный лингвистический университет and as an Adjunct Faculty at Roosevelt University. Vallan K. holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Art History from Agnes Scott College and a Master of Arts in Applied Linguistics from Northeastern Illinois University, along with studies in Islamic Art and Architecture, and Russian language and religious art.
