Alyssa Katz is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in litigation and insurance defense. Currently serving as Senior Staff Counsel at American Integrity Insurance Company since May 2021, Katz specializes in in-house litigation defense and legal services for first-party property cases in Florida. Prior to this role, Katz worked as a Trial Attorney at Smith Thompson Law, representing homeowners and businesses in property damage claims as well as individuals in bodily injury and uninsured motorist claims. Katz's earlier experience includes positions as a Trial and Appellate Attorney at Ligori & Sanders and as a Senior Trial Attorney at Allstate Insurance Company. Katz holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from St. Thomas University Benjamin L. Crump College of Law and a Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication/Media Studies from Southern Methodist University.
