Maryan Carbuccia-Abbott has a diverse range of work experience in the fields of research, data analysis, and economic analysis. They started their career as an Analyst at the Planning and Developing Office of the Ministerio Administrativo de la Presidencia, where they reviewed economic news, managed the President's commitments, and analyzed economic policies. After that, they worked as a Junior Economist at the Human Development Office of the United Nations Development Programme, where they focused on human development projects. They then interned at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, where they worked on technology and innovation projects. They also gained experience in data science and analysis through internships at Development Gateway and Open Data Watch. They later worked as a Project Assistant Intern at the Network of Schools of Public Policy, Affairs, and Administration. Currently, they are working as a Research Associate at the American Institutes for Research, where they analyze data on student outcomes and education policies, conduct interviews, and develop surveys.
Maryan Carbuccia-Abbott's education history begins in 2009 when they enrolled at Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra for their Bachelor's Degree in Economics.
