Lucy Lyudmila Alexander is an experienced professional in the field of chemical engineering, currently serving as the Associate Director for Energy, Sustainability, and Entrepreneurship at the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) since September 2013. Prior roles at AIChE include senior engineering and managerial positions dedicated to international programs, sustainability, and energy initiatives. Lucy has a strong background in developing strategic initiatives, managing conferences, and collaborating with volunteer leadership to enhance the value of engineering and sustainability events. Earlier experience includes roles as a process engineer at Técnicas Reunidas and teaching English at the American English Center. Lucy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Cornell University.
