Nick Ota-Wang, MA, MA, is an experienced professional in academic advising and historical research, currently serving as a Board Member for the LGBTQ+ History Association and as a Senior Student Success Advisor at 2U, where successful retention rates have been consistently achieved among Master of Social Work students. As the founder of History5280, Nick provides historical research services, while also contributing to community initiatives through volunteer roles at The Center on Colfax. With a strong background in teaching assistantships at the University of Colorado Denver and extensive experience in academic advising at multiple institutions, Nick holds a Master of Arts in History and a Master of Arts in Higher Education/College Student Development.
