Jorie Goins has a variety of work experience, starting with their most recent role as Communications Director for the American Heart Association since September 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Content Editor for the Chicago Tribune from July 2021 to September 2022. Before that, they were an Editor/Designer at Tribune Content Agency from May 2019 to July 2021. Jorie also has experience as an Account Executive at Propllr PR & Content Marketing from March 2017 to May 2019, and as a Features Intern at Cosmopolitan from September 2015 to December 2015.

Jorie Goins earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism from Northwestern University in 2016. Jorie is currently pursuing a Master of Science degree in Leadership for Creative Enterprises at Northwestern University, with an expected completion in 2023.
