Jennifer Piper currently serves as the Program Director of the Colorado Office at the American Friends Service Committee since October 2008, where responsibilities include organizing interfaith support for immigrant rights and coordinating the Metro Denver Sanctuary Coalition. Prior experience includes serving as a Legislative Auditor at the Office of the State Auditor, evaluating state-funded programs, and participating as an alumnus of the Center for Progressive Leadership, focusing on political leadership skills. Earlier roles included working as a Bi-lingual Women's Advocate at Safehouse Progressive Alliance for Nonviolence, and serving as a volunteer with the United States Peace Corps. Jennifer holds a Master's degree in Public Policy and Management from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor's degree in Social Work, with a focus on Social Justice and History, from Colorado State University.
