Alexandra Duprey serves as the Climate and Soil Health Coordinator at the American Farmland Trust since November 2023. Prior to this role, Duprey worked as a Planner II and Project Manager/Lead Reviewer at the Montgomery County Planning Department, where notable responsibilities included managing development review processes and engaging diverse stakeholders. Experience as a Climate Resilience Specialist at ICF involved developing climate adaptation strategies for various government entities, while a Graduate Teaching Assistant position at Tufts University focused on urban and environmental policy. Additionally, Duprey has contributed as a Research Assistant for multiple organizations, including UNH Sustainability Institute and The Fletcher School, and has held roles in environmental education and planning since completing a Master’s degree in Urban and Environmental Policy and Planning from Tufts University. Duprey also holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Studies from Florida State University and has a significant background in research and policy analysis in the fields of environmental resilience and sustainability.
