Hiro Nakagame is an experienced data scientist currently serving as the Lead Data Scientist at American Family Ventures since June 2024. Previously, Hiro held the Lead Data Scientist position at CONNECT, powered by American Family Insurance, from March 2021 to May 2024, and had progressive roles as Data Scientist II and III within the same organization. Hiro's earlier experience includes a Data Scientist role at Infogroup, where significant contributions included the development of various predictive models using Python, SAS, and Spark, resulting in substantial improvements in accuracy and operational efficiency. Academic foundations include a Master's degree in Physics from The University of Alabama in Huntsville and dual Bachelor's degrees in Physics and Math, focusing on Optics/Optical Sciences.
