Kevalyn M. serves as the Health & Racial Equity Manager at Boulder County Public Health, leading the Health Equity Coordinating Committee to implement and evaluate the agency’s Health and Racial Equity Action Plan. With extensive experience in public health, Kevalyn M. is actively involved as an Associate Board Member for IMAHelps, focusing on improving healthcare access in underserved regions, and as an Evaluation Specialist with the American Evaluation Association to support under-represented groups in evaluation. Kevalyn M. has held research positions at the New York State Psychiatric Institute and the Institute for Community Health, engaging in studies to enhance health equity for marginalized communities. Additional roles include research associate work at Columbia University and public health consulting at Trans Equity Consulting, promoting equitable practices for transgender health. Kevalyn M. earned a Master of Public Health from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Seattle University.
