Mohammed Muaafa is an experienced professional in the energy sector, currently serving as the Technical Services Director at the National Energy Services Company (Tarshid) since July 2017, after holding the position of Technical Services Manager. Muaafa also contributes as an instructor for the Association of Energy Engineers, teaching courses on Certified Energy Auditor (CEA) and Certified Measurement and Verification Professional (CMVP). As an adjunct professor at King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals, Muaafa taught energy efficiency and management courses from February 2018 to February 2019. Muaafa's expertise extends to a role as a USGBC Faculty member and USGBC Pro Reviewer, previously holding a Senior Energy Associate position at KAPSARC where research focused on various aspects of energy models and sustainability. Academic qualifications include a Ph.D. in Systems Engineering and a Master’s degree in Engineering/Industrial Management from Stevens Institute of Technology, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from King Saud University.
